As much as I love the trend of off-shoulders, it is quite a challenge finding a petite-friendly one which does not engulf me. I prefer to buy clothes in cotton if available as it feels better on my skin and is perfect for summer. This top is a clear winner for me in the off-shoulder top category. It is 100% cotton which I did not realise until I was writing this blog. In hindsight, that explains why I often find myself gravitating towards this top. Did I mention it is petite friendly? See, how the top is true to my size without making me look bigger. I have not had yellow in my wardrobe for a while and this is a great addition of colors and print. I love how the yellow is not the neon-y or lime yellow that is usually found in clothing dyes – it is warm and sunny just like the sun (I can be cheesy too!). My current favourite way to wear is with the rose pink petite trousers also from the same retailer. The pink in the top ties in with the pink of the trouser. I am wearing a size 4 in both the top and bottom. Earrings gifted by a friend, aren’t they lovely? They were on sale for less than $ 10 and are currently sold out.
